All Time Club Records
Apart from the match played by the Guards at Waterloo, the first record of cricket in Belgium is to be found in the water colour painted in 1870, currently hanging in the Pavilion at Lords, showing the opening of the ground of the Brussels CC. in 1866. A document recording the officers of the Club in 1885 was presented to the M.C.C. in 1985. In 1977, His Majesty King Baudouin honoured the Club with the title of Societe Royale, hence the present name: Royal Brussels Cricket Club.
